Debut 1837. Participated in the world premieres of Verdi’s The Two Foscari (1844, Rome, part of Francesco), Le Corsaire (1848, Trieste), Louise Miller (1849, Naples, part of Miller). For many years he performed in St. Petersburg, the first performer in Russia of the part of Macbeth (1), as well as a participant in the world premiere of Verdi’s opera The Force of Destiny (1855, part of Fra Melitone). The singer performed on the leading stages of the world, incl. in Covent Garden since 1862 (parts of Germont, Count di Luna in Il trovatore, etc.). The repertoire also included the parts of Figaro, Malatesta in Don Pasquale, Rigoletto.
