Nina Koshetz
Debut 1913 at the Zimin Opera House (Tatiana’s part). She performed on the concert stage with Rachmaninoff. In 1917 she made her debut at the Mariinsky Theater as Donna Anna. In 1920 she left Russia. She sang at the Chicago Opera (1921), where she participated in the world premiere of Prokofiev’s The Love for Three Oranges (fata Morgana). She performed with great success the part of Lisa in Buenos Aires (1924, Colon Theatre). Sang at the Grand Opera.
Among the parties are also Yaroslavna, Volkhova. Participated in a concert performance of fragments of the opera “Fiery Angel” by Prokofiev in Paris (1928). She performed in 1929-30 as a chamber singer in an ensemble with N. Medtner. Daughter of tenor P. A. Koshyts.
