Studied at the Milan Conservatory. After her debut in Vienna (1826, the opera Bianca and Faliero by Rossini), she performed on the stages of the leading opera houses in Italy. Toured in Paris, London, Madrid. Enjoyed the fame of an outstanding singer. Her voice, thick, rich, distinguished by lightness and purity. Among the best parties: Norma (Bellini’s Norma), Cinderella, Semiramide, Desdemona (Cinderella, Semiramide, Rossini’s Othello), Anna Boleyn (Donizetti’s Anna Boleyn), and others. In 1830 V. Bellini wrote for her the part of Romeo in the opera “Capulets and Montagues”.
