How to use chord fingerings
- Fingering – a schematic representation of a chord on the fretboard of a ukulele. In all images, the first string is on top (the thinnest), the fourth string is on the bottom. The chords in the pictures are fingerings.
- The numbers above the “grid” indicate the fret numbers on the ukulele neck.
- The red dots show which frets you need to press the strings to play the chord.
- The red line indicates the barre technique. To play the barre, you need to pinch all 4 strings with your index finger at the same time.
- In order for the chords to sound perfect, do not forget about the timely tuning of the ukulele!
