Debut 1971 (Freiburg, part of Countess Almaviva). Since 1973 she sang in Düsseldorf. In Covent Garden since 1976 (the part of Leonora in Fidelio, etc.), at the Salzburg Festival in 1977 Spanish. part of Salome. A significant achievement was her performance in 1983 at the Bayreuth Festival (Brunhilde in Wagner’s tetralogy). In the work of Behrens, an important place is occupied by Op.
