Debut 1970 (Geneva, part of Fyodor in Boris Godunov). Since 1973 she sang at the Sadler’s Wells Theater, then at the English National Opera (parts of Rosina, Nanette in Rossini’s The Thieving Magpie, Sextus in Handel’s Julius Caesar). Participated in the premiere of E. Hamilton’s opera “Anna Karenina” based on L. Tolstoy (1981, part of Dolly). Since 1983 she sang in Covent Garden, since 1986 in the USA (Los Angeles and others). Among the parts are Dido in Berlioz’s Les Troyens, Branghen in Tristan and Isolde, and others. Among the recordings is the part of Rosina (conducted by G. Bellini, Chandos).
