In the modern world, music is of great importance to each and every individual. There are cases when listening to certain music is prescribed for medical purposes or when they try to sell us something with the help of music. With an understanding of how music can be used comes an awareness of its power and the true power of its influence on us.

The use of music for medicinal purposes has been known for its effectiveness since the times of Ancient Greece. The Greek god Apollo was the god of art and the patron of the muses, and was also considered the god of music and healing. Modern research confirms the logic of the ancient Greeks: music can lower blood pressure, help combat stress and help keep a rapid heart rate under control. The central nervous system, according to research, responds positively to musical rhythm, and the topic is currently being studied in more detail. There is a theory that music can promote the formation of brain cells, but this statement has not yet been scientifically supported.
