Despite his youth, he is the winner of many prestigious awards: Grammy in 2006 for the best classical recording; named after Franco Corelli, awarded by the Teatro Muses in Ancona, in 2010, for his performance as Brutus Jones in Grünberg’s opera The Emperor Jones. Ford’s repertoire includes Don Giovanni, Valentine (Faust), Escamillo (Carmen), The High Priest (Samson and Delilah), Telramund (Lohengrin), Curvenal (Tristan and Isolde), Count di Luna ( “Il trovatore”), Attila in the opera of the same name, Amonasro (“Aida”), Iago (“Othello”), Scarpia (“Tosca”), the main role in Britten’s “Bill Budd”. He successfully performs on American and European stages and gives many concerts, in particular, he sang in Shostakovich’s Thirteenth Symphony. The famous Italian conductor Bruno Bartoletti said that throughout his artistic life he had rarely met an artist so musical and well-trained.
