Carlotta Patti

She studied piano in Paris with pianist A. Hertz. She made her debut as a singer in 1861 in New York. She performed in various countries on opera and concert stages, including in Russia. Her voice, pleasant in timbre, however, did not have the brilliance that distinguished the singing of her sister Adeline Patty.
