Swedish opera singer Nina Stemme successfully performs at the most prestigious venues in the world. Having made her debut in Italy as Cherubino, she subsequently sang on the stage of the Stockholm Opera House, the Vienna State Opera, the Semperoper Theater in Dresden; she has performed in Geneva, Zurich, the San Carlo Theater in Neapolitan, the Liceo in Barcelona, ​​the Metropolitan Opera in New York and the San Francisco Opera; She has taken part in music festivals in Bayreuth, Salzburg, Savonlinna, Glyndebourne and Bregenz.

    The singer sang the role of Isolde in the EMI recording of “Tristan und Isolde” with Plácido Domingo as her partner. The performance was successfully performed at festivals in Glyndebourne and Bayreuth, at the Zurich Opera House, London’s Covent Garden and the Bavarian State Opera (Munich).     Among the awards and titles of Nina Stemme are the title of Court Singer of the Swedish Royal Court, membership in the Royal Swedish Academy of Music, the honorary title of Kammersängerin (Chamber Singer) of the Vienna State Opera, the Medal of Literature and Arts (Litteris et Artibus) of His Majesty the King of Sweden, the Olivier Prize for performance in “Tristan and Isolde” on the stage of London’s Covent Garden.
