Born in Moscow in a family of professional musicians. Father – Vladimir Kudrya, professor at the Russian Academy of Music. In parallel with his studies and work, the talented musician successfully participated in many Russian and foreign music and vocal competitions.

Alexey Kudrya toured as part of the Russian Virtuosos youth creative association in the UK and South Korea, performed in many cities of Russia and neighboring countries. He performed as a soloist-flutist with the orchestra of the State Capella. M. I. Glinka (St. Petersburg), the State Symphony Orchestra conducted by V. Ponkin, the State Symphony Orchestra of the Ulyanovsk Philharmonic, the chamber orchestras Cantus Firmus and Musica Viva, etc.

As a vocalist, Alexey Kudrya participated in the official concerts of FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany. With the part, Ferrando participated in concert performances for the 250th anniversary of Mozart in a project conducted by T. Currentzis in Novosibirsk and Moscow.

At the end of 2006 he made his European debut with the part of Nemorino in Austria, then he sang the part of Lord Arturo (Lucia de Lammermoor) in Bonn.

The 2007-2008 season was very fruitful – Alexey made his debut in 6 games. This is Aristophanes in Telemann’s baroque opera Patient Socrates at the 2007 Early Music Festival in Innsbruck, with the same part he performed under the baton of Maestro Jacobs at the Berlin State Opera, in Hamburg and Paris. As well as Lensky in Lübeck (Germany), Lykov (The Tsar’s Bride) at the Frankfurt State Opera, Count Almaviva (The Barber of Seville) in Bern (Switzerland), Ernesto (Don Pasquale) in Monte Carlo and Count Liebenskoff (Journey to Reims) at the famous Rossinievsky Opera Festival 2008 in Pesaro (Italy).

The young singer received excellent criticism for all, without exception, premieres, both in Russia and in Europe. All critics note the pure flight timbre and the great mobility of his voice, which promises him a great future in the operatic repertoire of the Baroque era, bel canto, as well as Mozart and early Verdi.

The singer also conducts a wide concert activity. During the period 2006 – 2008 he took part in more than 30 concerts in Germany, Austria, and also in Moscow.

The demand for the singer is growing rapidly, during the 2008-2010 seasons he was engaged in 12 theaters in France, in Antwerp and Ghent in Belgium, Bern in Switzerland, and this list is expanding every month. Alexey Kudrya also collaborates with the Moscow Philharmonic, the Moscow State Conservatory, the Bolshoi Symphony Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Fedoseev, the Theater.
