Born June 16, 1863 in Toulouse. French composer and conductor.

He received his musical education at the Paris Conservatory. Since 1894 – professor. In 1889-1892. worked as a choirmaster, in 1892-1914 – conductor of the Paris Opera; in 1914-1919 Conductor of the Opera Comic.

Author of operas, pantomime ballets: Pierrot the Murderer of His Wife (1888), Forgiven Columbine (1890), Curtsy (1906), Maladette, Russian Holiday (ballet divertissement on folk themes, both – 1893 ), “Dance Suite” (together with Messager, on the themes of Chopin, 1913).

Paul Antonin Vidal died on April 9, 1931 in Paris.
