Debut 1904 (Petersburg, part of Gilda). Since 1906 she has been a soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre. In 1909-1911 she sang abroad (La Scala, Covent Garden, Boston, Chicago, etc.). In 1909 she performed at the Metropolitan Opera with Caruso (Gilda). In 1911-13 again at the Mariinsky Theatre. She performed in the opera Orpheus and Eurydice (part of Eurydice) together with Sobinov (1911, directed by Meyerhold). In 1914 she sang at the Musical Drama Theatre. We note the performances of the singer in the roles of Lakme (together with Chaliapin), Manon (1911, Paris) and others. In 1914 she sang the part of Elema in the world premiere of Ponchielli’s opera The Valencian Moors (Monte Carlo). Among the parties are also Violetta, Lucia. She performed with the baritone Baklanov in the USA (1910), the Grand Opera (1914, Gilda, Ophelia in Tom’s Hamlet). From 1919 she lived permanently abroad. In 1927-29 she toured the USSR. For a number of years she worked in Chisinau, where she was actively engaged in teaching work (1937-41), as well as in Paris (since 1952), Beirut. She left the stage in 1941.
