Ildar Abdrazakov was born in Ufa and received his musical education at the Ufa State Institute of Arts (class of Professor M.G. Murtazina). After graduation, he was invited to the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre.

In 1998, Ildar Abdrazakov made his debut at the Mariinsky Theater as Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro), and in 2000 he was accepted into the Mariinsky Theater troupe.
