Eugenio Giraldoni

Son of L. Giraldoni. Debut 1891 (Barcelona, ​​part of Escamillo). He sang in theaters in Italy, including at La Scala (where he was a member of the Italian premiere of Eugene Onegin, 1900, title role). 1st performer of the part of Scarpia (1900, Rome). He performed at the Metropolitan Opera from 1904 (debut as Barnabas in Ponchielli’s Gioconda), on other major stages in the world. Among the parties are also Gerard in Andre Chenier, Boris Godunov.
