Canadian pianist Angela Cheng became famous for her brilliant technique and incredible musicality. She performs regularly with almost all the orchestras in Canada, many US orchestras, the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
In 2009, Angela Cheng took part in the tour of the Zukerman Chamber Players in China, and in the fall of 2009 – in the tour of the band in the United States.
Angela Cheng regularly performs solo concerts in the US and Canada. She collaborates with numerous chamber ensembles, including the Takács and Vogler Quartets, the Colorado Quartet and others.
Angela Cheng won the Gold Medal at the International Piano Competition. A. Rubinstein and became the first representative of Canada to win the prestigious Montreal International Piano Competition.
Her other awards include a Career Development Grant from the Arts Council of Canada and a Medal for Outstanding Mozart Performance from the Mozarteum Salzburg.
