Russian singer (bass). He performed in St. Petersburg from 1787, possessed a bright comic gift. The most significant achievement of the singer was the part of Bartolo in the opera The Barber of Seville by Paisiello.

His wife A. Vorobieva (1768-1836) also sang in St. Petersburg and acted in comic roles. The first performer on the Russian stage of the part of Rosina (1822).
