Bulgarian singer (mezzo-soprano). She performed in Sofia (parts of Rosina, Preziosilla in Verdi’s The Force of Destiny, Dorabella in Everyone’s So Act, etc.). In 1988-91 she sang in Zurich. She sang at the Salzburg Festival 1991-92 (parts of Annius in Mozart’s “Mercy of Titus”, the title part in Rossini’s “Tancrede”, concert performance). Since 1991 she has performed at the Vienna Opera (debut as Rosina, among other parts Polina, Cherubino). In 1995 she sang the role of Isabella in Rossini’s The Italian Girl in Algeria (German Opera). In 1996, she brilliantly performed Romeo in Bellini’s Capuleti and Montecchi at Opera-Bastille, Jane Seymour in Donizetti’s Anna Boleyn in Munich, Zerlina in Don Giovanni (Salzburg Festival). Recordings include Agnese’s part in Bellini’s Beatrice di Tenda (conducted by Steinberg, Nightingale Classics) and others.
