Since 1858 at the Mariinsky Theatre. In 1859 he sang the part of the Duke in the first Russian production of Rigoletto (in Italian). 1st Spanish Shuisky’s parts in Boris Godunov (1), Basmanov in op. Tchaikovsky’s “Oprichnik” (1874), a number of parts in op. Serov. He sang mostly minor parts.
