Vadim Rudenko was born in 1967 in Krasnodar. At the age of 4, he began to play the piano, and at the age of 7 he gave his first solo concert. The first teacher of the future artist was a graduate of the Moscow Conservatory N. L. Mezhlumova. In 1975, V. Rudenko entered the Central Music School at the Moscow Conservatory in the class of the outstanding teacher A. D. Artobolevskaya, who invariably characterized her beloved student as “a boy with Mozart’s data.” At the Central Music School, Vadim studied with such brilliant musicians as V. V. Sukhanov and Professor D. A. Bashkirov, and at the Moscow Conservatory and postgraduate studies (1989-1994, 1996) – in the class of Professor S. L. Dorensky.

At the age of 14, Vadim Rudenko became a laureate of the Concertino Prague International Competition (1982). Subsequently, he repeatedly won prizes at prestigious pianist competitions. He is a laureate of the International Competitions named after the Belgian Queen Elisabeth (Brussels, 1991), named after Paloma O’Shea in Santander (Spain, 1992), named after G. B. Viotti in Vercelli (Italy, 1993), named after P.I. Tchaikovsky in Moscow (1994, 1998rd prize; 2005, XNUMXnd prize), named after S. Richter in Moscow (XNUMX, XNUMXth prize).

Vadim Rudenko is a pianist of bright romantic talent, a virtuoso gravitating toward large canvases. He gives special preference to the work of Rachmaninov. The basis of his extensive repertoire is also the works of Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Chopin, Schumann, Brahms, Tchaikovsky.

The artist actively gives concerts all over the world. His performances are held in Europe, the USA, Canada and the countries of Southeast Asia. He plays on such prestigious stages as the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, the Great Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the halls of the Berlin and Cologne Philharmonics, the Hall of the Milan Conservatory named after Giuseppe Verdi, the Suntory Hall in Tokyo, the National Music Auditorium in Madrid, the Concert Hall in Osaka, Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Gaveau Hall and Chatelet Theater in Paris, Rudolfinum in Prague, Mozarteum in Salzburg, Municipal Theater in Rio de Janeiro, Hercules Hall in Munich, Chatelet Theater in Paris, Tonhalle in Zurich, Arts Center in Seoul.

The pianist is a regular participant of the Stars on Baikal festivals in Irkutsk, Stars of the White Nights in St. Petersburg, Warsaw, Newport (USA), Risore (Norway), Mozarteum and Carinthian Summer (Austria), La Roque -d’Anterone, Ruhr, Nantes (France), the Yehudi Menuhin Festival in Gstaad, the Summer Festival in Lugano (Switzerland), named after P.I. Tchaikovsky in Votkinsk, Crescendo and many others in Russia and abroad.

Vadim Rudenko has performed with leading Russian and foreign ensembles: the State Orchestra of Russia named after E. F. Svetlanov, the ASO of the Moscow Philharmonic, the BSO named after P. I. The pianist plays a lot and successfully in the ensemble. Especially famous is his duet with Nikolai Lugansky, which developed during the years of study at the Moscow Conservatory.

The artist has recorded several CDs (solo and in an ensemble) at Meldoc (Japan), Pavan Records (Belgium). The recordings of Vadim Rudenko were highly appreciated in the music press in many countries of the world.

Vadim Rudenko gives master classes in Belgium, Holland, France, Brazil and Japan. Repeatedly participated in the work of the jury of international piano competitions, incl. named after Vladimir Horowitz and “Sberbank DEBUT” in Kyiv, named after M.A. Balakirev in Krasnodar.

In 2015, on the eve of the XV International Competition. P. I. Tchaikovsky, Vadim Rudenko was invited to participate in the unique project “The Seasons” of the TV channel “Russia – Culture”, performing the play “October” (“Autumn Song”).

During 2015 and 2016 repeatedly participated in concerts dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Moscow Conservatory and the 85th anniversary of his teacher S.L. Dorensky.

In 2017, the pianist performed in Moscow with the MGASO under Pavel Kogan, in St. Petersburg with the ZKR ASO of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic under Yuri Temirkanov, in Vladimir with the Governor’s Symphony Orchestra under Artyom Markin, in Tambov with the Voronezh Academic Symphony Orchestra under Vladimir Verbitsky at the XXXVI International Sergei Rachmaninov Festival, gave a solo concert in Orenburg.

Since 2015, Vadim Rudenko has been teaching special piano at the Central Music School of the Moscow Conservatory.
