Tatyana Grindenko is a graduate of the Moscow Conservatory, a student of famous teachers – professors Yuri Yankelevich and Maya Glezarova. Laureate of many international competitions, including those named after Tchaikovsky and named after Venyavsky. Founder and leader of the Academy of Early Music and Opus Posth ensembles. People’s Artist of Russia. For outstanding achievements in the art of music, she was awarded the State Prize of the Russian Federation (2003).

She has performed with the world’s leading orchestras – the Vienna and Berlin Philharmonic, the Dresden Staatskapelle, the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, the symphony orchestras of Brooklyn, Los Angeles, French Radio, RAT Milan, Turin, Rome, Moscow, St. Petersburg and others. She took part in festivals of academic and early music, various avant-garde events.

Her stage partners were outstanding musicians: Kirill Kondrashin, Kurt Mazur, Kurt Sanderling, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Yuri Temirkanov, Mstislav Rostropovich, Saulius Sondetskis, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Vladimir Fedoseev, Valery Afanasiev, Gidon Kremer, Yuri Bashmet, Heinz Holliger, Irena Grafenauer, Andreas Steyer, Frans Bruggen, Alexey Lyubimov, Alexander Knyazev and others. Such well-known composers as Schnittke, Pärt, Martynov, Nono, Silvestrov and others wrote for Grindenko. Grindenko’s recordings have been published by Melodiya, Erdenklang, Eurodisс, Ondine, Deutsche Grammophon, RSA, ECM, Wergo, Long Arms, CCn’C Records.
