People’s Artist of Russia. Laureate and owner of a special prize for the “best soprano” of the International Competition named after. F. Viñasa (Barcelona, Spain, 1987). Laureate of the All-Union Competition of Vocalists. M.I. Glinka (Moscow, 1984). Diploma winner of the International Vocal Competition (Italy, 1986).
Olga Kondina was born in Sverdlovsk (Yekaterinburg). In 1980 she graduated from the Ural State Conservatory in violin (class of S. Gashinsky), and in 1982 in solo singing (class of K. Rodionova). In 1983–1985 continued her postgraduate studies at the Moscow State Conservatory. P.I. Tchaikovsky in the class of Professor I. Arkhipova. Since 1985 Olga Kondina has been the leading soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre.

Olga Kondina also performs soprano parts in Stabat Mater Pergolesi, Beethoven’s Solemn Mass, Bach’s Matthew Passion and John Passion, Handel’s Messiah oratorio, Mozart’s Requiem, Rossini’s Stabat Mater, Mendelssohn’s Prophet Elijah, Verdi’s Requiem and Mahler’s Symphony No. 9.
As part of the Mariinsky Theater Company and with solo programs, Olga Kondina toured Europe, America, and Japan; She has performed at the Metropolitan Opera (New York) and the Albert Hall (London).
Olga Kondina is a member of the jury of a number of international vocal competitions (including the international festival-competition “Three Centuries of Classical Romance” and the international music competition named after V. Stenhammar) and a vocal teacher at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory. ON THE. Rimsky-Korsakov. For two years the singer headed the Department of History and Theory of Vocal Art.

Olga Kondina performed the role of Gilda in Viktor Okuntsov’s opera film Rigoletto (1987), and also took part in the recording of the music for Sergei Kuryokhin’s film The Master Decorator (1999).
The singer’s discography includes CD-recordings “Russian Classical Romances” (1993), “Sparrow Oratorio: Four Seasons” (1993), Ave Maria (1994), “Reflections” (1996, together with the Academic Russian Orchestra named after V.V. Andreeva), “Ten Brilliant Arias” (1997) and Unique baroque music (together with Eric Kurmangaliev, conductor Alexander Rudin).
