Narek Hakhnazaryan was born in 1988 in Yerevan. In 1996-2000 he studied at the Children’s Music School. Sayat-Nova (Prof. Z.S. Sargsyan). In 2000 he entered the Children’s Music School at the Academic Music College of the Moscow Conservatory. P.I. Tchaikovsky (class of Honored Art. of Russia, Prof. A.N. Seleznev). Narek Akhnazaryan is currently a student at the Moscow Conservatory (class of Prof. A.N. Seleznev). During his studies, he took part in master classes of such famous musicians as M. Rostropovich, N. Shakhovskaya, Y. Slobodkin, P. Dumage, D. Yablonsky, P. Maintz, D. Geringas, S. Isserlis, acted as soloist with many chamber and symphony orchestras.

Narek Hakhnazaryan is a laureate of the International Youth Competition named after Johansen (I prize, Washington, 2006), the International Competition named after. Aram Khachaturian (2006st prize and gold medal, Yerevan, 2006), Gyeongnam International Competition (2007nd prize, Tongyong, Korea, XNUMX), XIII International Competition. P.I. The young musician is a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the M. Rostropovich, A. Khachaturian, K. Orbelian Foundations, the Russian Performing Arts Foundation. In 2007, Narek Hakhnazaryan was awarded the Youth Prize of the President of Armenia. In 2008, he won the competition and signed a contract with one of the largest US management companies – Young Concert Artists.

The geography of his tours includes the cities of Russia, USA, Germany, Italy, Austria, France, Canada, Slovakia, Great Britain, Greece, Croatia, Turkey, Syria, etc.

In June 2011, Narek Hakhnazaryan became the winner of the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition. The musician was also awarded the special prize of the competition “For the best performance of a concerto with a chamber orchestra” and the Audience Award.
