Ksenia Vyaznikova graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (class of Larisa Nikitina). Trained at the Vienna Academy of Music (class of Ingeborg Wamser). She was awarded the title of laureate at the international competitions of vocalists named after F. Schubert (I prize) and N. Pechkovsky (II prize) and a diploma of the International Competition named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov. Fellow of the program “New Names of the Planet”.

In 2000, Ksenia Vyaznikova became a soloist of the Moscow Chamber Musical Theater under the direction of B. A. Pokrovsky. Currently she is a soloist of the Helikon-Opera (since 2003) and a guest soloist of the Bolshoi Theater (since 2009).

The repertoire of the singer includes Olga (Eugene Onegin), Polina (Queen of Spades), Konchakovna (Prince Igor), Marina Mnishek (Boris Godunov), Marfa (Khovanshchina), Ratmir (Ruslan and Lyudmila ”), Vani (“Life for the Tsar”), Lyubasha (“The Tsar’s Bride”), Kashcheevna (“Kashchei the Immortal”), Cherubino and Marcelina (“The Wedding of Figaro”), Amneris (“Aida”), Feneni (“Nabucco” ), Azucena (Il trovatore), Miss Quickly (Falstaff), Delilah (Samson and Delilah), Carmen (Carmen), Ortrud (Lohengrin) and many other leading roles in M. Mussorgsky’s operas, S. Taneyev, I. Stravinsky, S. Prokofiev, D. Shostakovich, D. Tukhmanov, S. Banevich, G. F. Handel, W. A. ​​Mozart, V. Bellini, G. Verdi, A. Dvorak, R. Strauss, F. Poulenc, A. Berg, mezzo-soprano parts in cantata-oratorio compositions, romances and songs by Russian and foreign composers.

The geography of the artist’s tour is very extensive: it is more than 25 Russian cities and over 20 foreign countries. Ksenia Vyaznikova has performed on the stages of the Vienna State Opera, the Czech National Opera in Brno, the Opera de Massi and the Tatar State Opera and Ballet Theater named after M. Jalil in Kazan. Participated in the production of the opera Nabucco by G. Verdi in the Netherlands (conductor M. Boemi, director D. Krief, 2003), the operas Nabucco (2004) and Aida (2007) in France (staged by D. Bertman).

Ksenia Vyaznikova made her debut at the Bolshoi Theater in 2009 in the opera Wozzeck (Margret). As part of the cross year of culture between Russia and France, she took part in a concert performance of the opera The Child and the Magic by M. Ravel, and also sang the part of Firs in the world premiere of the opera The Cherry Orchard by F. Fenelon as part of a joint project of the Paris National Opera and the Bolshoi Theater ( 2010).

In 2011, Ksenia sang the part of Frikka in a concert performance of Wagner’s Valkyrie with the Russian National Orchestra conducted by Kent Nagano. Participant of the Chaliapin festival in Kazan, the Sobinov festival in Saratov, Samara Spring and the Grand Festival of the Russian National Orchestra. As part of the festival dedicated to the 75th anniversary of R. Shchedrin, she took part in the performance of the opera Not Only Love (Barbara’s part).

In 2013, she performed at the Berlin Comic Opera in S. Prokofiev’s “Fiery Angel” and B. Zimmerman’s “Soldiers”.

The singer has collaborated with many famous conductors, including Helmut Rilling, Marco Boemi, Kent Nagano, Vladimir Ponkin and Teodor Currentzis.

Ksenia Vyaznikova recorded on CD the rarely performed vocal cycles by I. Brahms “Beautiful Magelona” and “Four Strict Melodies”. In addition, she participated in the recording of G. Berlioz’s dramatic symphony “Romeo and Juliet” and the opera “The Marriage of Figaro” by W. A. ​​Mozart (stock recording of the Kultura TV channel).

In 2008 she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
