Born January 27, 1928 in Bordeaux. French composer and pianist. He studied with A. Cortot and at the Paris Conservatory with M. Dupre. Since 1944, he collaborated with the choreographer R. Petit as a pianist-accompanist.

He is the author of operas, symphonic and instrumental compositions, ballets: Ski Jump (1944), The Diamond Eater (1950), Light Trap (1952), Beauty in Ice (1953), Three on a Swing (1955), Prince of the Desert (1955), Buckle (1957), Comedians (1957), Fair Wedding (1961), Monaco Suite (1964), Silk Rhapsody (1968), Auditorium (1968), Othello (1976).
