Caccini. Ave Maria (Sumi Yo)

Italian singer, composer and theorist of vocal art. Author of one of the first operas in the history of the genre (Eurydice, 1602). We also note the pastoral “The Abduction of Cephalus” (1600). Caccini was a member of the Florentine Camerata. His daughter Francesca Caccini, nicknamed “Ceckina” (1587-1640?), is also a famous singer and composer.
