Russian singer (soprano). Soloist of the Bolshoi Theater in 1973-1992. Among the parties are Tatiana, Lisa, Iolanta, Fevronia, Tosca, Leonora in Il trovatore, Amelia in Un ballo in maschera, and others. The first performer on the Russian stage of the role of Concepsion in the opera Spanish Hour by Ravel. Performs abroad.
In 1993 she made her debut at La Scala (the title role in Giordano’s Fedora). She performed the part of Aida at the Colon Theater (1996). Recordings include the title role in the opera The Legend of the Invisible City of Kitezh and the Maiden Fevronia (conductor Svetlanov, CDM).
