Debut 1961 (London, Sadler’s Wells, part of Gilda). Since 1967 in Covent Garden (sang the parts of Gilda, Zerbinetta, Constanta in Mozart’s Abduction from the Seraglio, etc.). She has performed in Aix-en-Provence since 1967 (Fiordiligi in “That’s what everyone does”, Donna Elvira in “Don Juan”). Since 1975 at the Metropolitan Opera (debut as Fiordiligi). Since 1970 he has been taking part in the Salzburg Festival (parts of Countess Almaviva, Donna Anna, etc.). In 1982, she sang the part of the Marshall at the Glyndebourne Festival. She also performed in A. Sullivan’s operettas. Among the numerous recordings is the part of Musetta (dir. Karayan, Decca) and others.
