Debut 1867 (Modena, part of Pollione in Bellini’s Norma). He sang in various cities of Italy and Europe. In 1877 he performed in Moscow, then for many years he sang in the Italian troupe in St. Petersburg (1879-1903). The first performer in Russia of the part of Turiddu in Rural Honor (1891).

Mastery Masini appreciated Verdi, who invited the singer to perform his “Requiem” in 1875 (London, Paris, Vienna). When composing Falstaff, the composer showed the singer the part of Fenton. Among the parties are Radamès, Nemorino, Almaviva, Duke, Vasco da Gama in Meyerbeer’s African Woman and many others. The last time he performed on stage in 1905 (the part of Almaviva. Ruffo was his partner).
