She made her debut in 1860 at the Bolshoi Nat. t-re in Mexico City. In 1862-65 she toured Europe; She was especially successful in Italy (in the repertoire of the main part from operas by V. Bellini, G. Verdi, G. Donizetti). P. – the first mex. singer who received an international fame. Organized own. opera troupe in Mexico City, with which she toured Mexico, performing the best Op. Western European classics (Ch. arr. Italian and French).
